The BB&T 5k Run/Walk and 1k Fun Run is an annual signature event benefitting a different charity each year. For 2014 we are excited to be announce that our proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! 

Join us on Sunday October 5 at 9:00 am 5k around the Fairfax Corner Center. The race will begin and end next to the plaza, where you will enjoy a post-race snack and fun for the whole family. 

Registration for the 5k is just $30 until September 25, then will go up to $35 through race day.

Registration for the 1k is only $15 through race day.

Race day registraiton will be cash or check only. 

All participants who register prior to September 25 will receive a commemorative long sleeve dry fit race shirt! Shirts will be first come first serve for those who register after the 25^th. 

Packet pick up will be held at the Fairfax Potomac River Running Store, just steps away from the start/finish line, on Saturday October 4 from 12:00 – 6:00 and again in the plaza on race day morning starting at 7:30 am. 

Awards will be given to the top three over all male and female finishers, as well as to the top three male and female finishers in each age group; 14 & U, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over. All 1k participants will receive a completion medal!
