The Dulles Day 5k on the Runway is back for 2014 and even better.

Join the Dulles Community on Saturday, September 20, for a unique running experience and run a 5k or 10k on the runway of Dulles Airport!

This is your opportunity for the flattest, fastest course in the area. The full length portion of the runway will be closed off for runners to experience a flat, fast course and a unique look at the airport grounds, something you do not get to do every day! Run past planes and along the actual landing strip on this certified looped course.

All race proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Virginia, the Committee for Dulles Community Outreach, and the Washington Airports Task Force, all 501c3 nonprofit organizations closely affiliated with Dulles Airport.
