Join us in raising our feet to raise hope for healing families! Competitive and non-competitive runners and walkers are welcome at the 4th Annual Red Shoe 5k. This event raises funds to benefit seriously ill children and their families. RMHC DC eases the hardship of children’s illness on families through programs that help children heal faster, cope better and stay healthy.
The 5k event will have T-shirts for adult participants, a souvenir medal for Kid’s Fun Run participants, and prizes for the top three overall runners and top male and female in each age group. Ronald McDonald will join the participants for a warm-up and to say hello to all of his fans. This event is family friendly with kid’s games, face painting and other activities, vendors and giveaways. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome and free.

Race Location: Dulles Station, 2303 Dulles Station Blvd, Herndon, VA 20171
Start time: 9:00 a.m.
Registration: $40 until March 23.
$45 up through race day.
Packet pick up: Bibs and shirts will be available for pick up on Friday March 28 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at the Falls Church Ronald McDonald House. Saturday March 29 at the Reston PR Store from 12:00-4:00 pm. Race Day pick up will start at 7:30 a.m. All Red Shoe Snoozer registrants, must pick up their shirts during one of the designated packet pick up times.
When you make a donation of $5 or more, you get a Red Racer to show your support for RMHC DC! Racers will be displayed along the route for all to see as they run and walk. Please specify the name you would like displayed. One name per Red Racer. This can be your name or the name of a loved one. See picuture of the Red Racer below.
