Register for 2014 Run, Walk & Wag 5k

Join animal lovers on May 17 to benefit the Northern Virginia Spay Neuter for the 3rd annual Run, Walk & Wag 5k run and pet expo! Run 5k on our USATF Certified course, run or walk in our dog and family friendly 1 mile fun run or participate in one of our doggie contests. The 5k will be a professionally timed race with awards going to 1st and 2ndplace winners in each of the following age categories: 12 & U, 13-25, 26-54, 55 & over.
5k / 1 Mile Fun Run: 5k will start at 9:00 a.m., and the Walk & Waggers (1 Mile Fun Run) will start at 9:10 a.m. Once runners and walkers return there will be a pet parade where judges will vote on the best doggie costume.
Registration fees: 5k (Adult): $25 until April 26, $30 until online registration closes on May 15 at 8 pm, $35 during packet pick up and race day.
5k (12 & Under): $15 until April 26, $17 until online registration closes on May 15 at 8 pm, $20 during packet pick up and race day.
1k (pet friendly): $15 until April 26, then $20 up through race day
Pet Expo: There will be pet costume contest, various doggie games, make your dog’s paw print in clay, Balloons from Mike will be back, demonstrations, vendors, a silent auction, Fetch from the Loudoun Hounds, DJ HiRyze will be back spinning the tunes, drinks and snacks. Awards will be given to pet costume contest winners.
Packet Pickup: Friday, May 16, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 at Dog Day Afternoon, 305 E. Market St. Leesburg. And again the morning of the race starting at 8:00.

This is a fun family event. Spend the day at the park with your pet, family and friends. Check out the many different vendors, run a 5k race, participate in the 1 mile fun run or enter your dog pet parade. Come join in the fun!
Proceeds from the Run, Walk & Wag benefit Northern Virginia Spay Neuter. We are dedicated to lower the pet overpopulation via low cost spay neutering, Trap-Neuter-Return programs and educating the public on the importance of spay neutering, which in turn will lower the pet overpopulation and better the quality of life for animals.
All dogs must be on a leash at all times.
