Race to Connect a Child to Life at the 15th Annual Hopecam 5k Run/Walk!

When: Sunday, May 4, 2014 - 8:15am WheelChair Start, 8:20 am Runners Start. Race day registration starts at 7:30 a.m.

Location: The start and finish will be at 1890 Preston White Drive in Reston, VA.

Registration: 5k: $25 before April 10/$30 before May 2/$35 Day of Race.  $10 for children 12 & under/$15 Day of Race.

Packet pick-up: Will be held at the Reston PR Store on Saturday May 3 from 1:00-3:00 and then the morning of the race near the starting line, starting at 7:30 a.m.

This year the Hopecam 5k Run/Walk is a USATF certified race-fast and flat. It is the perfect race for families featuring an easy course for runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels

NEW this year: a wheelchair division in honor of Hopecam Child Alex Green who will compete in his wheelchair. 

Everyday 36 children in the US are diagnosed with cancer.  Among the first side-effects of treatment is isolation from their school, friends and classmates.  Hopecam re-connects these children to their lives using technology.  Your contribution will change the life of a child with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
