On Sunday, November 16th, 2014 the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association of Northern Virginia (AFCEA NOVA) will host the second annual VIVA VETS! 5K Run/Walk for our Veterans. With support from our members and friends we give hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships every year and very much look forward to this fun and exciting addition to our yearly activities. There will be live Music: Featuring DJ Tadeo & Zumba dancing from IGNIGHT Dance Fitness. Please invite your friends, family, and colleagues of all ages to this fun and rewarding event. We hope to see you there!

The 1k will start at 8:00 am and the 5k will begin at 8:30 am at Fairfax Corner (11895 Grand Commons Ave, Fairfax, VA 22030)

Registration Fees: $30 until September 1, $35 until November 1, then $40 through race day. 

                           $10 for the 1k Fun Run/Walk until November 1, then $15 through race day.

Each participant will be able to choose between a Commemorative T-shirt or a Challenge Coin. 

Awards will be given to the top over all male and female finishers as well as the top male and female finisher in the following age groups; 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Packet Pick up: Will be at the Fairfax =PR= Store (11895 Grand Commons Ave, Fairfax, VA 22030) on Saturday, November 15 from 3:00-6:00 pm. 

For this event, all proceeds will go to the AFCEA Education Fund to support veteran's scholarships.
