In honor of National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Month, Epsilon Zeta Boulé Foundation, Inc., Volunteers of America Chesapeake and Stone Bridge High School invites you to participate in our 3rd Annual “Salute For Service”, Loudoun County 5k Run/Walk 4 the Homeless & Disadvantaged.

WHEN: Saturday, November 8, 2014 @ 9:00 a.m. … Rain or Shine.

WHERE: Stone Bridge High School, 43100 Hay Rd, Ashburn, VA

REGISTRATION FEES:

Early bird fee: $30 through October 7

$35 from October 8 – Nov 6 (on line registration closes at 8 p.m. on Nov 6) 

$40 from November 7 & 8 (Registration is available at packet pickup times, including Race Day)

No refunds given for no shows or cancellations.

Note: Please complete, sign and bring the attached Emergency Information form (Student or Adult) to packet pick-up and /or on Race Day.

RACE T-SHIRT:  T-Shirts to all pre-registered 5k runners.

PACKET PICKUP:

Friday 5-7 p.m., November 7, at Stone Bridge High School, 43100 Hay Rd, Ashburn, VA.

Race Day – Saturday, November 8, 7:00 – 8:45 a.m.Packet pick up at Stone Bridge High School

Q: “Can someone else pick up my race packet on my behalf?”
A: Yes. Please make sure your friend has your name, bib number, and completed Emergency Information Form handy for the packet pickup staff. Bib numbers will be found posted at Stone Bridge High School.

COURSE: The race will be staged at Stone Bridge High School (43100 Hay Rd., Ashburn, VA) with a start & finish on the track.

TIMING: The race will be timed using the IPICO electronic timing system managed by Commonwealth Race Management, Inc.

AWARDS: Top 3 overall male and female finishers. Top male and female finisher in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

COLLECTIBLE PIN: The first 300 pre-registered participates will receive a “Salute For Service” pin – as a constant reminder of your support to the Homeless & Disadvantaged!

POST RACE: There will be refreshments for all participants.

RESULTS: Results will be posted immediately following the race at www.prraces.com 

BENEFICIARIES: Net proceeds will be provided to homeless shelters and organizations supporting homeless and disadvantage men & women in Loudoun and its surrounding counties.
