Wolftrap Elementary 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run

Join Wolftrap Elementary PTA, students, family and community on Sunday, April 12 for a 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run starting at 8:00 a.m. The start and finish line are located at the Elementary School, 1903 Beulah Rd, Vienna, VA 22182. This fun and exciting event is a major fundraiser for Wolftrap Elementary School PTA. Not only can participants enjoy the race and/or fun run, but the morning will also feature music by DJ, Daren Pusker (Belt it Out Productions), awards, cake walk, basket raffles and the Crepe Love Food truck. The proceeds of this event go directly to the PTA, used in support of its programs benefiting the Wolftrap ES and Community.  

Registration Fees: Note that online registration closes on Thursday, April 9 at 8:00 p.m. 

5k Run/Walk Adult (13 & over): $20 until February 28 ($25 until online registration closes on April 9, then $30 for late and race day registration)

5k Run/Walk (child 12 & U): $10 until February 28 ($15 until online registration closes on April 9, then $20 for late and race day registration)

1 Mile Fun Run (untimed): $10 until online registration closes on April 9, $15 for late and race day registration

To guarantee a t-shirt before race day you must register by March 27,2015. All other registrants will be informed of a t-shirt pick-up at Wolftrap Elementary approximately 2 weeks after the event.

Start Time: The event will start with the 1 mile fun run/walk at 8:00 a.m. The 5k will follow at 8:30 a.m. There is a one hour time limit for the 5k course. The event will take place rain or shine. Strollers are welcome at both races. Please be respectful of other runners and start in the back of the group. 

Packet Pick up and Late Registration: Packet pick up and walk in registration will be held on race day, Sunday April 12 from 6:30 a.m.-7:45 a.m. in the Wolftrap School cafeteria. On Friday April 10, packet pick up will be available in the school cafeteria from 3:00-7:00 (no race registrations will be accepted at this time).

Awards & Prizes: For the 5k race, trophies and medals will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers including teachers and students. Additionally, medals will be awarded for the top male and top female finisher in each of the following age categories: 4 & under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & over.
