4th Annual Freedom High School 3R 5k/10k

Join Freedom High School in a Run, Walk, Stroll towards RESPECT, RECOGNITION & RESPONSIBILITY!

With Freedom HS is celebrating its 10th Anniversiary, All families and local businesses are invited to participate in this community event. The Freedom 5k was established in order to combat bullying and foster the 3R's; RESPECT, RECOGNITION AND RESPONSIBLITY, the three pillars of the Freedom HS Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Our goal is for this 5k/10k is to bring together a community effort to treat all others with respect, empower our communty to recognize positive behaviors and reinforce that we all have a responsibility to create a warm climate in our schools and community. 

We want to thank INOVA Health Systems for serving as our primary, GOLD sponsor. We would like to invite all local organizations to show their support by attending the event. If your organization would like to be listd as a sponsor, please contact the high school. 

Fees: 5k: $30

         5k: for students $15

Online registration will close on Friday, May 8 at 8:00 pm.

Packet pick up will be on Saturday, May 9 from 6:30-7:30. All registered runners will receive a commemorative race shirt, and will enjoy post race snacks. 

Both the 5k run, walk & stroll and 10k will begin at 8:00 am. There will be a free Tot Trot on the Freedom HS track along with the .5 mile Run Run starting at 7:45 am, before the race begins.

Awards: Top 3 male and female 5k finishers will receive awards.
